Accessible by 4WD only. Vehicles must have good clearance as the creek crossing at the entrance may be inaccessible in wet weather. All campers need to be self-sufficient, with their own amenities. The Gympie region is a historic gold mining area, with plenty to see and do, an ideal day trip from your peaceful basecamp at Tara Hills.
